The Challenge

Premier is located on one of Liverpool city centre’s busiest streets, surrounded by constant pedestrian movement, nightlife, and competing retail brands. While footfall was high during the day, the existing non-illuminated signage became almost invisible after dark.

In a 24/7 city environment, this created a critical problem: the store blended into the background at night, losing impulse customers to brighter, more visually dominant neighbours. The brand lacked presence, clarity, and long-distance visibility—especially for customers approaching from side streets and junctions.

The UX-Led Objective

The goal was not simply to “add lighting,” but to design visibility as a user experience:

  • Capture attention from long distances

  • Guide pedestrians naturally toward the store

  • Ensure brand recognition from multiple approach angles

  • Compete confidently with surrounding national brands

The UX Solution

We designed and installed high-output 3D illuminated lettering across the main fascia to create a strong frontal presence that reads clearly both day and night. Letter depth and spacing were carefully calculated to maximise light diffusion without glare.

To solve the visibility gap for foot traffic approaching from side streets, we introduced a high-impact projection sign. This secondary visual anchor acts as a directional cue, pulling attention toward the shop before customers even reach the main frontage.

This dual-layer signage strategy creates a continuous visual touchpoint throughout the pedestrian journey.

The Result

The Challenge

Mr. Fries is positioned on a heavily congested commuter road lined with food outlets competing aggressively for attention. In this environment, standard signage simply disappears into the noise.

The client wanted more than visibility—they wanted a brand experience. The storefront needed to stop traffic visually, while the interior had to reinforce the brand identity and encourage social sharing.

The UX-Led Objective

The objective was to create a seamless visual journey:

  • Instantly grab attention from the street

  • Establish a bold, recognisable brand identity

  • Maintain visual consistency from exterior to interior

  • Encourage “stop-and-stare” behaviour and social media engagement

The UX Solution

We pushed beyond traditional signage by designing a multi-layered 3D composition, effectively creating “3D on 3D.” The main sign was enhanced with integrated neon borders, adding depth, motion, and an unmistakable glow that stands out even in heavy traffic conditions.

This design language was then carried inside the space. We installed:

  • 3D mirrored wall signage

  • Custom counter branding

  • Feature elements designed for customer interaction and photography

The result is a unified brand environment where every visual element supports the next.

The Challenge

Situated in the heart of Shoreditch—one of London’s most design-conscious districts—Golden Razor Barbers needed a storefront that reflected the premium, “fancy” nature of both the brand and the neighbourhood.

In this environment, generic signage doesn’t just underperform—it actively damages perception. The storefront needed to signal quality, confidence, and credibility at first glance.

The goal was to create a visual identity that:

  • Aligns with Shoreditch’s clean, modern aesthetic

Japur required a visual identity that balanced cultural character with a clean, modern UK commercial aesthetic. The challenge was to avoid clichés or overly decorative design while still delivering a strong sense of identity and quality.
